I've been helping people with health related insurance since 2013. I never thought in a million years when I was growing up that I would be doing insurance, but I am and it turns out I'm not too bad at it. When I started out I was helping people with insurance through the Affordable Care Act.

As much controversy as there was about it at the time I would have people cry at appointment because they could get coverage (their pre-existing conditions wouldn't be held against them), coverage they could afford (with the tax credits) and coverage that would limit their out of pocket costs (the cost-sharing subsidies). I can tell you...it didn't make me rich by any means, but it was very meaningful to make a difference in people's lives.

Since then I've grown my business by also helping people with their Medicare decisions. The way I work with people our first Medicare call or appointment is all about information and answering questions. Why is there A & B? What is the difference between a supplement and an Advantage Plan? What are the deadlines?

My goal in that first appointment is to help you get a frame of reference for what Medicare is and what options you have. It's only after that where we really look at specific plans and benefits and do enrollments. Let me know if you have questions.
