  2. Are you independent, or do you work with one insurance company? Independent agents can usually compare more plans.
  3. Are my doctors and hospitals in the plan's network?
  4. How are my prescriptions covered, and what will they cost? Bring your medication list.
  5. Is there any cost to me for your help? Most agents are paid by the insurance companies they represent.
  6. Will you review my coverage with me each year? Plans and costs can change every Annual Enrollment Period.

Already in a Medicare Advantage plan? Make one switch to another plan or back to Original Medicare. Jan 1 – Mar 31 is also the General Enrollment Period if you missed signing up for Part A or B.
Turning 65 · Initial Enrollment Period
Seven months: the three months before your 65th-birthday month, that month, and the three months after.
First 6 months of Part B · Medigap Open Enrollment
Your best window to buy a Medicare Supplement plan without health questions, starting the month you're 65 and enrolled in Part B.
