One thing I hear all the time is:

“Does it cost more to use an agent?”

It really doesn’t.

Whether you sign up directly through an insurance company or work with an independent Medicare agent like me, the cost of the plan is generally the same. The difference is having someone helping you understand everything and making sure you’re looking at the bigger picture.

Medicare can get overwhelming fast. There are a lot of moving parts — doctors, prescriptions, hospital copays, networks, deductibles, and all the different plan options. Most people just want to know they’re making a good decision and not overpaying or missing something important.

That’s where I come in.

Since I’m independent, I’m able to compare multiple companies and plans instead of pushing just one option. I help clients look at what actually matters long term — making sure their doctors are covered, prescriptions are affordable, and the coverage fits their health needs and budget.

And honestly, enrolling someone is only part of what I do.

Plans can change every year. Drug costs can change. Doctors can leave networks. That’s why I like staying in touch throughout the year and helping clients review things when needed, not just during enrollment season.

A lot of people feel like they’re on their own once they enroll. I never want my clients to feel that way.

My goal is to make Medicare easier to understand, help people feel less overwhelmed, and make sure they have someone they can actually call when questions come up.
