I was raised in Omaha, NE, and have always been passionate about helping people. This passion was not being fulfilled with the oddball jobs I was doing so in 2014. I joined the United States Army. During my seven-year career, I was honored with the ability to help grow and develop my peers and discovered a unique little town in Alabama where I could be involved in the community. I found in this little town how passionate our prior generations were about preserving history and ensuring connections from their generation to each generation that followed. I witnessed genuine care for one another in this community and those placing each other's needs before their own, even when dealing with their hardships. These people and this little town inspired me and sparked my passion for helping people even further.

In September of 2021, my life changed, and the Army's medical personnel determined my Army career would end, and I would be medically retired. Although I never saw myself not in the military, God had other plans for me, and a new chapter in my life was about to begin. At the same time, trying to determine my new path, my mom offered to help me get a position with her at American Senior Benefits. At first, I was not too thrilled with the work, but very quickly, I saw the impact I could make in the lives of that generation that had inspired me so much. The fulfillment didn't only show me that with this position, I could help the older generations but also that other veterans could use my assistance.

This position has become more than I could have ever asked for; I love meeting everyone, developing new relationships, ensuring that you and your family understand what you have earned during your lifetime, and providing you get every bit of help you earned and deserved.
