Dessis Agency was created from a genuine passion for helping people. My philosophy has always been to master my craft and keep learning. So when I entered the insurance world in 2006, I did exactly that, learned every detail I could, to better serve my clients. I loved sharing what I knew with clients, especially since I realized most people were unfamiliar with the Medicare system—it’s complicated and sometimes contradictory. More importantly, many didn’t even realize what they didn’t know. We carried that same approach into the under-65 individual market. Before long, I noticed many agents were in the same situation, and I began receiving several calls a week to answer their questions. That’s how Dessis Agency began.
